tried it. it doesnt work. i can see partially with my broken screen. im at the bios. but it wont output to my monitor. 

i can try installing windows now and then change the display settings. is there any other way to do this.

two options 

pull out hard drive install windows on other pc and put it back or

remember the buttons and procedure of installing windows, do it with monitor and internet connected.

Not easy, gd luck

You could remove the LVDS cable attaching the screen to the laptop. That should set whatever screen you have plugged in to default. You can ofcourse plug that back in eventually, but why would you if you aren't replacing the screen?

I'm installing windows now. but if switch my laptop off and then turn it on again, how can i see the bios?

if i remove the cable, will it output to hdmi?
