Does Overclocking use an program void my warrenty

Hi i would like to know if useing MSI After burrner will void my Nvidia Founder Edition Gtx 1070 ti warrenty as iv been wanting to overclock and if i do it will be my first time

In theory yes, in practice just dont tell the customer service that you've overclocked before. They cant prove it.

and what is an good solid temperature for my graphics card on idle as its on 60 c

idle 60C? it should be within 15C range of the room temperature (even by founders card standard), so unless your room is hot enough to cook eggs, it's too hot.

 

under max load, dont let it get past 80C

Just a thought, but can't the 1070Ti go up to 90C, or has the thermal headroom really dropped since Kepler 2.0? My GTX 780 will go up to 90 before I have to worry, and that's overclocked.

in theory you can, but past 80C GPU boost really starts lifting its foot off the gas and clock speeds start dipping sharply.

so i just ran planet coster on maxed settings and on full load it was around 82
