So a while back, I posted some plans involving swapping the key switches from one keyboard and putting them in another. I got all of the switches soldered onto one of my boards, and then when I went to test it, I noticed that a couple of the LEDs were stuck on, Q and F1 in particular, along with one of the glowzone ones on the side. The one on the side is stuck on red and refuses to change color at all, whereas Q and F1 are stuck on an orangeish blend that *does* seem to change, but when the other LEDs are turned off they seem stuck on that orange. There's a bit of flux slop in a few places that I cleaned up, but nothing seems to have worked in that regard.

What might cause a keyboard LED to stick in one color like that?

Trying to look into solderbridges later this week. I don't think they keys are individually addressable, but I haven't delved enough into Armoury II or Aura to find out. It's an ROG Strix Flare, formerly with Cherry MX Reds now with Speed Silvers swapped in. (An arrangement I really wish Asus would do themselves, because this keyboard design with those switches is paramount.)
