Any way to make use of this Macbook pro SSD?

I work in IT and have upgraded a few macbooks with larger ssds.  Now i have a few spares that i would love to make use of.  The only thing i have found is a $70 case you can buy and i feel its not really worth it.   anyone know of a inexpensive way to put these to use?  I know there are pcie adapters but from what i have found they are only for the 1st gen ssd's the fatter ones.
