Hi,

So I have an ASRock Z97 Pro4. I have a i7-4790k in it which has been great so far but I could use an upgrade as I am starting to do things like video editing. I went ASRocks product page: https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z97 Pro4/ which said it supports 5th gen processors. Does that mean a 6700k would work in it? I also didn't know it had it M.2 slot but it does according to the page. I'm just asking to make sure this is right before I decide what I am going to be saving up for.

You have top consumer CPU you can use with that board. I think there may be some Extreme CPU which uses LGA1150 socket.
