Specs

8700k with h100i v2 (no overclock)

gtx 1080ti founders with evga hybrid aio cooler

500gb samsung 850 evo

16gb optane

16gb corsair lpx vengeance 3000mhz

Win 10

Right, hopefully someone can help me with this issue as its driving me up the wall! i get random fps drops/stutter in all games and even sometimes wallpaper engine.... This is nearly always at a loading screen/ ingame texture/ area load or autosave point. 100fps down to 1fps is very common but sometimes just 10ish, still enough to become annoying.

i've tried removing all overclocks from ram and gpu, basic ram test, fresh windows, new cpu, checked thermal issues, checked voltages at load and idle. The only things i've been unable to check are ssd (Samsung magician says all good) and the gpu as nobody near me has something i can try :(. i'm at a lost as what to look for now?????

Try taking out the optane drive and running without that. That all sounds like load lag to me, and using optane on an SSD has no real benefit.

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/
