Drawer PC Project

Hello

 

Recently I was thinking about putting my pc under my desk, i have dog and 3 cats, so i have to clean the filters reallly often. I don't want to put compontents directly uder the desk, i want to make wooden box, put all pc components and mount it on rails under my desk. It doesn't have to be super preety. So here is my plan

 

 

This is made in scale 1:5 and componets are a little bit bigger, so it is easier to draw it on the paper

 

So, first at all, i have ssd, this is least important here for me because it can be anywhere

 

Second thing, where the arrows are there are fans

 

Third, thing, gpu will be side mounted, i'm thiniking about changing cooling solution to taller fins, something like this, and add smaller fan inside, also make some sort of tunnel, from the one of the fans. This is gtx 1060 3gb so i don't know if it's necesary, and same story with the cpu basicly

 

And i think that's it. The next update will be when i will start cutting wood

 

I will be glad if you want to leave any suggestions or opinion

Identify and address the actual cause of the clogging filters. If its placed where your cats and dog can reach, shift the PC to where they can no longer do that. If its on the ground where the fans easily suck in all the hair and dust, then dont put it on the ground.

On the floor, and i have actually no other place to put the pc, i tried to put it on desk but it didn't work out for me. I was thinkin putting it on some sort of higher leg stand like 30cm above the ground but i don't know how it would workout

This is a top viev, it will be placed on the right of the desk, shorter edge, to the wall, I won't have any problem with my knees coliliding with case because i newer seat at the right edge of my desk. It is like 1,8m? Exhaust will be between mobo and gpu, probably will have some smaller fans at the top of gpu and mobo but with this we wil see.

@huilun02, thanks for comments, but i abbadoned the project because i just bought server rack
