So my PC is only a few days old and I'm having some troubles.

For some reason, once I power on my computer, it takes around 10 seconds for my computer screen to turn on, and then a further 10 seconds or so before I'm fully in to my computer. In task manager, it says my last BIOS time is 20 seconds. I don't understand why this is so long.

I have tested all of my components, and all seem to be running fine so I am very confused.

Here are my specs:

Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z370-F

Power Supply: Corsair RM650x Gold 650W Power Supply

CPU: Intel Core i7 8700

GPU: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB

RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro CMW16GX4M2C3000C15 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4

SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM006

A friend with similar specs and a new PC has a very similar issue. His BIOS time is about the same, however his screen turns on a bit faster than mine. So I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

Any help would be much appreciated as I am very worried and unsure what to do. Thanks in advance.

My boot time takes 3x longer...

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.

like others said this is not uncommon (by boot time is about 30 sec) but maybe you have your post delay time set high in the bios. you can shorten this period but that means you have less time to hit buttons like f12 while your system is starting up to enter the bios in the first place.
