Macbook pro desk setup help

Go to solution Solved by RKarim,

Who would want MacOS? And yes, just partition the 4tb hard drive.

I am going to a larger university for computer science in the fall and I have decided to buy a new macbook pro to replace my rather old gaming pc and use as a daily driver for school and a hobby in photography. I want to use this to power my gaming so when I come home from school, I don't have to worry about lugging around a full desktop pc. I plan on dual booting the system with windows using external storage to play games while using a graphics enclosure and my gtx 1070 to power the gaming. I was wondering if I could use an external ssd as a boot for windows while having a different external mass storage hard drive for a gaming storage so I could have a fast boot time into windows while also having enough storage for a complete steam library. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

An XPS 15 might fit your needs better.

I understand that windows will probably suit me better, part of the reason I want the mac is to have the mac os and the ease of software and optimization. Without the whole buy a windows laptop, I was also wondering if i could use half of the 4tb external hard drive, the one for game storage, as storage on the mac itself then use the other for the windows game storage.
