Looking for a big hard drive to hold movies and have a quick response when I want to watch a movie. I have these drives but don't really understand the difference between the three. 300$ is my preferable budget with at least 8tb.

Seagate Exos 7E8 8TB 512e SATA 256MB Cache 3.5-Inch Enterprise Hard Drive (ST8000NM0055)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016AG0ITU/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_5?smid=A1OL2QPKLA93XC&psc=1

Seagate 10TB IronWolf NAS SATA 6Gb/s NCQ 256MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Hard Drive (ST10000VN0004)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IA9GU0Q/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_4?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

Seagate 8TB Barracuda SATA 6Gb/s 256MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Hard Drive (ST8000DM004)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075WYBQXJ/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_3?smid=A1M9Q2WB0F8EVB&psc=1

Any information and help would be cool!

Cheaper to buy an external hard drive

https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Expansion-Desktop-External-STEB8000100/dp/B01HAPGEIE?keywords=8TB+USB&qid=1537242436&s=Electronics&sr=1-2&ref=sr_1_2

Are you sure you don't just want to build a NAS of some kind for all of that?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I looked in to that drive and its https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Archive-6GBps-128MB-ST8000AS0002/dp/B00XS423SC/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1537242851&sr=1-1&keywords=Archive+Seagate which has a smaller cache and doesn't seem to be as good right? I do want to know if there is really a difference. I have a NAS but want some redundancy. If it was a NAS would the Seagate IronWolf and Exos be more appropriate as there meant for NAS?

The speed really doesn't matter if you're just using it for storing files and as a media drive.

You would want different drives for a NAS yes.

Speed matters if you're doing professional work moving TBs daily or something.
