DVI compatibility

Are u sure? did you try it before or saw someone do it?

Yes, I am sure.

DVI-D can go into DVI-I just fine. DVI-I won't go into DVI-D because the DVI-I cable has extra pins for the analogue signal and a DVI-D port only has the holes/pins for the digital signal.

DVI-I ports on monitors/graphics cards are designed to support DVI-D, DVI-A and DVI-I all in one port, so DVI-D will work fine.
