Problem: Recently my PC will not turn on when i press the power button sometimesNo Led No fan spinning nothing.

Tried: When it does not turn on , i flipped the PSU switch off and on and also change the electrical outlet that the PSU is connected to. (usually only need to do once)

Worked: It will then turn on and work for the whole day without any problem.

Tried: Jump starting the motherboard with a screwdriver to test for case switch. (No reaction not sure if im doing it right)

This Morning 9/16: It did not turn on, even after changing outlet and flipping the PSU switch, i took the case out and cleaned it and check if everything is seated properly. Plug back in and still did not turn on, after 5min i tried again and it powered on.

Note: Usually happens when i turn it off at night and turn it on again in the morning.

If i try to replicate it by shutting down my PC and turning it on 5min later the problem will not be there. (Can't confirm)

The system was built in January everything is new except for the PSU and HDD which is about 5-6years old.

Answer is simple - your PSU is dead or your motherboard is dead (maybe even because of your PSU). Without spare parts, you can't check none of these possibilities.

If you plug and unplug your PSU from electrical outlet (or just turn on or off it using some power cord switch), then may be the reason why your pretty good PSU becomes dead.

Just to clarify, what do you classify as dead, cause my pc will still turn on and run normally. Its just that sometimes it will not turn on.

I made sure to switch off the electrical outlet before switching the outlet, and i didnt meddle with it until the problem occured.

Sorry if my English is bad.

90% problems people have with their computers hardware (especially PSU and motherboards) is causes by that paranoid unplugging everything from power outlet every time. Voltage spikes are not so good for capacitors. Leave your computer plug in all the time, except long holidays.

My computer was plugged in and power outlet was always on, its just that it one day it did not power on that i tried to re plug everything in case it got loose.

Do you think if i bring it to a store that repairs computer, they will be able to pinpoint the problem? Even if the computer boots normally when i bring it over?

Update: I Brought my PC to a local repair shop and told them about the issue, after 2 days of testing, I was told they were unable to replicate the issue (they are still testing).
Things that i was using at the time of the issue and what they are currently testing with.

Keyboard
Mouse
Webcam

Monitor
HDMI Switch(Not sure if this might be the problem, i used it for 2 years but it was very cheap (Powered via HDMI))

PSU Power Cord

Power Outlet

I tried different outlet in my room but the issue still occurs sometimes, so I'm guessing its the PSU Power Cord thats causing the problem but im not sure.

After reading @homeap5 and the Repair Shop owner and some googling myself the 2 probable culprits are PSU and MotherBoard but so far theres no issue yet.

Any opinions on what might actually be causing the issue?

HELP PLEASE, after 4 days the PC repair shop deemed that there is no problem with the PC and suggested i change the PSU power cord, as they did testing with their own. After changing to a new one and used my PC for a day, the next day the same problem occured again.

Now im at my wits end as to what the issue could be. I read online saying that it might be Power Outlet but im not sure how to test it or what to tell the electrician.
