Sound Blaster Play 3 Issues

Hi all,

I have a Creative Sound Blaster Play 3 USB audio adapter, https://us.creative.com/p/sound-cards/sound-blaster-play-3 have been using this for a about 2 months and

from time to time it drops out, i can still hear static but Windows reports as can not detect USB device, I have done everything I can think of to try to correct

this issue. Run the Sound Blaster software and with just windows detecting the drivers, both have this issue. Also this happens at random times even in middle

of a game.

I dont know what to do, other then take it back for a return. Has any one had a similar issue?

No other USB device drops in and out like this so dont believe its the USB port drivers.

If I am not able to correct, and can get my money back, what headset do you all recommend that allows me to

use either on board audio or USB adapter to stop audio bleed.

Cheers

Mitch
