Thermal Paste for CPU

[Hi P]

Does what thermal paste I use between th CPU and the cooler matter at all if it won't be overclocked?

 

Because I'm between getting Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut or just using the thermal paste that may come with the CPU.

The difference between the best and worst is only a few degrees. If you're not overclocking, it's not worth spending money on aftermarket stuff. The TIM that comes with the CPU/Cooler is fine.

kryonaut is a bit overkill, especially since you're not overclocking. its also a bit difficult to apply. get MX-4 if you need some paste.
