Hi

I'm currently using the ROG Strix H370i with an i5 8400.

I would like to know if it is possible to install 2x M.2 on the motherboard as well as 4x HDD in the Sata ports at the same time?

  • 2x M.2
  • 4x HDD through Sata

I tried googling but no luck

Thank you

Yes you can connect four SATA HDDs.

Yes, you can connect two M.2 devices but one of the slots is PCI-E drive only (the one on the back of the motherboard), meaning that slower and cheaper SATA-based M.2 drives will not work in it.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 Motherboard: MSI PRESTIGE X570 CREATION
AIO: Corsair H150i Pro RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB 3600MHz DDR4 Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic PSU: Corsair RM850x White
