New build

Go to solution Solved by Demm,

Why would you buy 2 980 Ti's instead of single 1080 or 1070? SLI isn't that well supported + you will need to have at least a 750W power supply and your motherboard has to support it. So I wouldn't.

Hey guys i wanna build my where first game pc and Need your help. I´m Shooting for a 1080p high refreshrate build, my Budget is max 1200 €. Can someone help me wich cpu and gpu i should take??

Is th 1200 for cpu and gpu only or for the whole system?

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.

i would recommend you wait but if you want the computer sooner you can buy it now and spend an extra 50$ or wait a few weeks (or months) to save 50$

it may but it will be like a temp card you will have it till you can get a better one (like a 1080 or 1070 etc) but from my tests I got GTA V running at 80 fps low settings with the card but i don't think they have a GT 1030 card  with DP (yet......)

I don't think those are the real prices.(I used Deutschland but it says that 8600 costs as much as 8400, which cannot be true).

To explain why I think this is a good build. Well.. the 1080 is powerful enough to get high Hz on High settings. The 8400 is 6 core CPU with enough power to run every game for years. I personally use 500GB SSD, as 250 isn't enough for the games I want to load fast as they are all +50 GB, but you can go with the 250GB if money is an issue. You don't really need to overclock. For the money you would spend on parts good enough for overclock, you can simply get better CPU or GPU and get that performance without the bother, the risk and the higher electricity bill.

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600, MOBO: MSI Tomahawk B450, RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 3000 (2x8 GB), GPU: MSI RTX 2080 Gaming-X Trio, CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S, PSU: Corsair RM 650, HDD: WD Blue 1TB, SSD: Samsung 860 ECO 500GB, CASE: Fractal Design Meshify C

Why would you buy 2 980 Ti's instead of single 1080 or 1070? SLI isn't that well supported + you will need to have at least a 750W power supply and your motherboard has to support it. So I wouldn't.
