Galaxy S7 signal issues

My mom has a Galaxy S7 from Verizon. She was having issues with Service cutting out, all Verizon said to do was use WiFi calling. Sorry but using our Comcast capped service to make your service work aint going to happen. Anyway after over a year of convince I got her to go to T Mobile after she paid her phone off. The S7 works, especially after I put the right APN settings in to the device. The only issue is, poor signal. I know its not T Mobile because I have at least 75% signal strength, and my dad is on the same plan and has about the same signal. Im thinking the S7 has a shit antenna or antenna design. Can any one think of anything I could try? If not, then my mom will be looking at a new phone. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
