Posted January 3, 2014 i have recently upgraded to windows 8 and had no problems. but in the last few days i noticed my pc turns on by it self around 6-7 in the morning. anyone have a idea why and how? and how can i fix this? Posted January 3, 2014 just some guy at NSA wanted to play so games on your rig... this has happend to me before, but it was due to ram issues (XMP settings not configured correctly), so if you havent messed with that, i dont know.. for the record my pc turned on precisly 7 seconds after shutdown.. Posted January 3, 2014 Author Clarify whether your computer is waking up from sleep or is turning on from a completely shut down state. when im done useing my computer i go to the Start menu then click Shutdown. the pc shutsdown completely but when i wake up in the morning its on. no one is turning it on, it does it by itself Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
