For massive database servers this'd be good because they use less power and power adds up when you run thousands of them :P

Sounds very nice, didn't expect to see 12-core Xeons on LGA2011. I'll be interested to see how much the 6/8 core models would cost though, hopefully Intel scales the prices so the flagship costs around 2k, like it is now.
