as of right now.... for gaming the 8350 is a better choice around the 200 dollar price point. of course noithing compares to the intel i7 processors but the i5 is... not ideal anymore. with newer games 8350 will get better frames due to multi threading support.

and my game doesn't chug when I record with my 8350 (as opposed to my 3570k)

I have thought about getting an 8350 but intel may release a more core processor soon to compete.

Also, stay tuned for the next release of processor from AMD. But if we continue this waiting cycle, at the end of the day, nothing is done. This is just tech life, always waiting for something new.

True, True. I am buying this in early june so if either company releases something new or plans to soon I will look into it.

I will edit this later but I have removed the wirless networking card (will make a wired connection) and have changed the thermal paste to Artic cooling MX4. The price is $1630.

don't think u will need the thermal compound since it comes with the cooler generally
