Seagate External Hard Drive Won't Eject

AlanAlan

I did a backup today with my seagate hard drive today and I was prompted with a error message saying that my drive couldn't be ejected. I always do it like this and I never got an error. Does anyone know a solution to this?

make sure the drive isn't copying or active, then you can safely remove it.

ejecting a drive is just closing whatever happening so there won't be any data corruption.

this process sometimes buggy, saying that the drive still active when its not.
