Random USB freeze

Since I reinstalled windows(about a month ago)my PC has been freezing in a strange way. When the freeze happens everything(mouse, keyboard etc) except the video output freezes for about 10 to 15 seconds and then starts working again. When i check the task manager after the freeze i see that there is the windows error reporting process(werfault.exe). This happens every couple of days or even weeks(it happened today after about a week and a half of it not freezing).

This doesn't really annoy me that much since it happens so infrequently and it didn't really get any worse from when it started, but maybe its a bigger problem that I don't yet know of.

Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 3 1200 without OC

GPU: Gainward Gtx 1050ti

Motherboard: Asrock AB350M Pro4 (Bios version: 4.90)

PSU:Corsair CX450 (grey)

RAM: 2x4gb 2400mhz G.Skill (which i reduced to the default in the bios, 2133 mhz)

HDD: an old(5-6 year old) 500gb WD Green

Two Arctic case fans

OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 Version: 10.0.17134 Build 17134

So, if I good understand, everything works good before unless you decide to reinstall windows?

 

If yes, then:

1. Install again all drivers and begin with chipset drivers.

2. Do not reinstall your windows again.

3. Check if any USB port causes that (I mean device connected to any port). I noticed once on some computer that wireless keyboard controller and pendrive don't like each other if they plug in the same type of USB. Rare but may happens. Of course that may be because of bad drivers - I don't check then, because that was not my computer and I was doing something different than fixing things.
