so my 2011 15" MBP GPU kinda died i am now using the intel graphics so i can use it but i cant boot into mac osx dont know what version i presume it is el cap so i was going to remove the AMD stuff but Linux wont mount it i am in the middle of scanning the disk to find the information about it so i can mount it is there anyway to remove that and use the recovery partition because i can mount that

Yeah that year Apple cheaped out on the soldering of their cards, you could pay $150+ to have them put a piece of rubber on it to hold it down, have a third party repair it, or buy a new laptop.
