Thermal paste on gpu

So on watercooling builds when they add the waterblock on the graphics card there is thermal paste on the gpu 

Should I replace it with liquid metal or Something

As far as ive seen in every video and everywhere they always replace the thermal paste with a new application when they watercool.

Blocks normally come with paste. If not buy some. And no liquid metal.

You can use liquid metal if you so choose, just make sure to protect and components directly around the die from being shorted by the conductive nature of the LM, nail polish works.
