I am curious. Is it possible with a wifi receiver connected to my ethernet port on my motherboard to send a WoL package?

Well currently there is no Standard for Wake on WLAN that I'm aware of. Your best chance to achieve this is to keep your PC in a Sleep State, with the Network card still running, so it might react to WoL signal even though it is received via WLAN.

To achieve this in Windows:

Open up the Device Manager -> select your Network adapter -> right click -> Properties -> Power Managment -> Set Allow this device to wake the computer. And of course, you have to configure the WoL Signal respectively.

But anyway I'm curious how do you plan to connect a Wifi Receiver to your Ethernet Port? Never seen that before ^^
