C'mon Ubuntu... (SOLVED)

Go to solution Solved by emusan,

You are typing your password, it just doesn't show characters because that would allow for people to learn the length, which would make cracking it faster. Just type your password and hit enter and all should be fine.

So as some of you may now, I built my PC about a week ago. I just now got around to installing Ubuntu. The install went fine, and all is good. Except for one thing; steam. I tried to run the install and was went fine. Then this popped up.

I would put my password in but this is the issue; I cant. For some reason it wont let me type. Anything. I know it isnt the keyboard, as I am typing this in Ubuntu on the same keyboard right now. Whats the problem?
