PC Gaming UI

So I was wondering,
For PC Gamers and Living Room PC gamers, what would the best gaming/media UI or OS look and feel like?
That's fully navigable just by a controller.
What features would it have? Does a price comparison feature interest you at all? What about, the trailer for your game or gameplay of it being played in the background when selected?
And what absolutely annoys you about gaming User Interfaces?
what would get you interested?

Those icons just seem needlessly big.

To me, Steam Big Picture works well enough. I just wished that it could use a cursor for controllers that aren't the Steam Controller.

You can use the steam big picture mode. Additionally you can add non steam games to the library and launch them through steam with the steam overlay. 

 

That one is probably the best.
