hello do you guys think I should get a dual socket board for an extra 40Aud and or just keep a single socket random unbranded X79 motherboard and buy a intel xeon E5-2650L v1 / v2 for rendering 3d models and remoting in from Uni or just buy a single socket X79 with a more powerful 8 core xeon like a 2670 or 2660 v2 or v1 I plan to use server for file storage and file sharing and network rendering like I said before.

If I got the single socket should I just buy a quadro for assisted rendering?? but I could do that on the dual socket too but that would use too much power for what I want, I have to pay to power it and don't want it to be super expensive to run
