looking for headset

hey guys, i'm currently using the razer kraken 7.1 headset but i wanna upgrade/get a new headset and i need opinions on headsets and recommendations. 

 

i was looking at the arctis pro headset (non-wireless) but i wasn't sure if they are good for the price and etc, just send opinions and thanks

Only gaming brand headsets I would consider somewhat worth of money would be Kingston HyperXes/QPADs made by (honestly trying) Takstar.

And those are already more expensive than non-gaming headphones.

 

The bigger the marketing of brand the more surely what they sell is cheapest garbage, with lot more money spent on that legalized lying.

Asus Strix, Razer, Roccat, SteelSeries... all in among the worst in frequency response:

You can get headphones of actual audio makers for less than many gaming trinkets.

 

What budget do you have?

 

Do you have noise or quiet environment?

Closed design needed for sound isolation also isolates heat increasing ear sweating risk.

(besides having lot more challenges in balancing sound)

 

And do you actually need that microphone?
