Low GPU usage in PUBG

Hi I have a Gtx1070ti, 16gb DDR3 1600mhz RAM with a 3770k @4.6Ghz. I play at 1080p ultra settings on a 60hz monitor. I have OC my monitors refresh rate to 75hz but I can really get past 60FPS. If I turn the graphics down the GPU usage just gets lower with no preformace increase over 60 fps. I don’t have V sync on and it does something’s go to about 70-80 fps but this is super rare and will stick at around 60fps. My GPU usage is 60% on average and my CPU is about 20-40% per core. Any ideas on how I can get my GPU usage higher to get more FPS?

"GeForce Experience", it's a handy program made by Nvidia that optimises games for optimal graphical detail and performance. 

From personal experience I'd say, it works pretty well.

There's an option in pubg that will limit the frame rate. Check in your graphics settings of it is set to 60fps, display synced, or unlimited.

From memory there's also a slider that lets you increase it from 60fps without making it unlimited.

 

These settings are separate from the vsync settings.

Open GeForce experience and click on the games and then click optimize.
