Lag while using second monitor

So I just bought a new 1060 6gb GPU and decided to use my old monitor so im running 2 monitors. The problem is that if I have twitch running on the second monitor I will experience lag on my main monitor while playing games, allthough my fps count is pretty high. And if I have twitch running in the background on the monitor i'm gaming on I'll have no lag at all, so what is the problem? Any ideas?

 

Specs:

CPU: I5 6500 3,2GHZ

GPU: Asus dual gtx 1060 6gb

Ram: 8gb's ddr4 hyperx fury

Motherboard: Asus h100I-plus-D3

PSU: 500 watts

Storage 1: 250gb SSD with OS installed

Storage 2: 1TB HDD
