According to page 69 of this manual, the beep code that you are hearing refers to a thermal warning. Make sure that the CPU cooler is secured properly and is receiving power. If all else fails, try reapplying thermal paste to the CPU.

In that case, there would have to be some sort of fault with your case fans. Otherwise, your motherboard is falsely reporting this error code.

Motherboards generally don't have error codes for bad or failing PSUs. The only time this will occur is if you haven't properly secured the 24 or 8 pin power connectors.

ok, so I sat down with a friend and discovered that the thermal paste wasn't making a good contact. we have eventually solved it
