SO on august 5 i ordered one of the new xps 13s from dell to use for university. From the start, the estimated delivery date was already kinda long, it was the 24 but whatever i dont need it until september 5. But, a couple days ago the estimated shipping date was updated to the middle of october. So i contacted dell customer support and the service was pretty underwhelming. Basically they just said theyll contact me on monday when they have more information, i called on friday. So my questions after all of that are, has anyone else had an experience similar to this with dell and if the shipping date is that far, ill have to cancel the order, so what would be another option similar. My max price is $1600 canadian. Thanks.
