Graphics card for adobe

I'm wondering wich GPU is better for Adobe programs like "After Effects" or "Premiere Pro".

I'm concidering a gtx 1080 or gtx 1080ti. But is it to overkill?

It's hella overkill, but it'll do great. If you don't have a ton of money to blow I'd just get a 1070 or a 1070 Ti, or wait for the new generation of cards to come out. Avoid AMD if you want to actually be able to use the GPU in Adobe programs.

I'd like to be safe for the next maybe 10 years, if its posible, I'd rather not buy another gpu soon because my gpu isn't enough anymore.
