So, I have a desktop with

MOBO:gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H,

CPU: Intel i3-4150,

4GB of DDR3 Ram,

1TB of HDD.

Now, I want to know if i put a new 120gb ssd and a graphics card will those make my pc any faster.

If the answer is yes then please recommend me some good ssd and graphics card.

Considering you have a HDD, any upgrade to a SSD will make your system considerably faster. Graphics card won't affect system performance, only graphics performance.

What's your budget for a SSD?

SSD definitely, though maybe look at a 250GB one.  Windows will boot in <20 seconds.

Unless youre gaming a graphics card wont help normal desktop usage. If you are gaming, id look at upgrading the entire system before getting a graphics card.

Also, I noticed you only have 4GB of RAM. DDR3 RAM is pretty cheap these days, so I would recommend upgrading to at least 8GB for an increase in performance.
