Anybody know  about  a graphics  card  that I  can  get  for  anywhere  from  50 to 100 usd?

Look at your used market for some older cards of good performance like a 970 or 780

New you are looking at a low end card.  Used you are looking at something more decent.  What games do you want to play?

You actually don't need a GPU to play minecraft, though it will play better with one.  You can run it on just about anything.  A used 970 or 780, as suggested above, will run it and give you plenty of extra power for other games you want to play later.
