Upgrading PC

Hi, I recently got the Aspire XC-605 ( Intel Core i5 processor 4440, Nvidia GeForce GT620 1024MB, 500GB Hard Drive, 4GB DDR3 Memory ). I currently have 4GB RAM and 1GB Dedicated Video RAM. I am told that I need to upgrade my Graphics Card from 6th gen to 9th gen and get more RAM. The PC requires a PC antenna on the back and I'm not sure if that is relevant.
The Nvidia GeForce GT620 is 5.7 inches by 2.7 inches. I currently live in Singapore and I'm not sure of what kind of graphics cards to get. Are there any suggestions for a good and affordable graphics cards that I could get?
