My friend decided to build new gaming computer and I gave him this advice. Want to hear opinions what people think about this build. Is it good or would u change it something there? Also is that mobo compatible with CPU and good? I'm kinda behind from PC stuff lately because of work.

Yeah like the guys above;
Nothing wrong with the build, it's high end and will play anything you want.

But like they said, not a huge fan of the case, not that it's anything wrong with it, it'll take your parts and run like any other PC.

... It's just ugly :D

Looks fine

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

"Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life.

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.

Drop the NVMe SSD if just gaming and go with a cheaper SATA SSD such as the Team Group L5.

I would want a better board myself especially if overclocking. Something like the ASRock Z370 Extreme4 or Asus Prime Z370-A.

You can save $20 on the Ram by getting something like Corsair LPX.

A 550W psu would be enough. The Corsair TXM for example is pretty cheap.

The Dark Rock Pro 3 is also pretty old now. The Dark Rock Pro 4 is a bit easier to fit, or go with a Cryorig R1 etc as long as it fits in the case.

the dream pc in a nutshell... except the case lmfao. Id recommend you to go with a Thermaltake case, they look sick.
