What's a good distro to replace macOS?

So I want to try out a new distro I've been using "ZorinOS" on my MacBook Air 13'' and I really like it, but at the same time I want to try out something new that might be even better, I am using this machine daily so I would really like something reliable and with a nice GUI like Zorin's. If anyone has any idea of a good distro to run please let me know! Thanks.

I am of the heavily biased opinion that everyone should try Manjaro.

I'll look into it, I've never heard of it.

Which edition, the GNOME edition look the cleanest, is this the one you're recommending?

No, KDE. Plasma 5 a beautiful thing.

I like Manjaro for the AUR. (Arch User Repository) Basically has recipes for mostly everything you'd need to install with all the hard work done by someone else lol.

I'm assuming you mean to choose anything not Windows?

@firelighter487 Why do you have such a powerful computer running ubuntu? And I really like the way elementary OS looks.

because i hate Windows 10. it's annoying with it's constant popups and updates that take forever sometimes even on my computer.

and yeah it's powerful but i do loads of stuff with it. tomorrow i'll be putting in a second gpu for pci-e passthrough with a Windows VM, and this way i can dedicate 6 core's to Windows and 6 to Linux.
