Case Fan wont Spin

Hello, So I have a build with an MSI B250M PRO-VD. My cpu fan (Hyper 212 Evo), gpu fan and all other fans except my back case fan, will spin. IN the bios, it just says SYSFAN1 0 RPM. Could someone tell me why it wont spin?

On my previous asus mobo, it worked just fine. I did have to unscrew the fan inorder to reach the cpu power pin and screw it back into place when i replaced it with an msi board, so maybe thats what messed it up?

Il buy another 120mm fan and plug it into the fanheader in question to see if it works. Are there any good budget 120mm fans u reccomend?

My board only has 2 headers, a sysfan and cpufan. My case fan is a 3 pin and the pins for sysfan are 4 pin. Would that make a difference?

Well, I only have that and my cpu fan, can the cpu fan plug into sysfan header or only the cpufan header?

So if you have all these fans you must be using a splitter.

 

The MB fan headers with 4 pins will accept a 3 pin fan no prob.

Best to keep the CPU fan in the CPU MB header.

Well, all the other fans not counting the cpu and chasis fan dont connect to a mobo
