HELP! laptop recommendation please!

Hi, i cant seem to find what i need, and am turning to the much more knowledgeable forum on this site (you) for help.

 

I have £1000 (give or take) to spend on a laptop. After a previous bad experience with apple repair support im ditching them. I need something i can do small amounts of photo and video editing as well as work on Adobe Illustrator and programs like coral draw. I cant seem to decide whats right.. a surface pro 4 ..but the accessories put it out of my ideal budget, a razer blade stealth ..again just out of budget. obviously i have expensive taste and crave quality design but am happy with anything adequate to meet my needs and ideally be suitable for traveling.

@matt25I recommend the HP or DELL range.

 

I recommend avoiding the SONY or Toshiba ranges.

@ZM Fong  preferably 13" - 15" screen size and battery life as long as possible but i don't mind comprising on it for a cheaper machine that will serve my needs. say 4 hours is fine? i'm not sure what you mean with the processors but my budget is up to $1,300 if that helps?

@ZM Fong I haven't found ones that suit my needs and budget, so was hoping for a suggestion based on budget rather than selecting one of a few candidates. i shall research some and let you know. thank you.

 

Do you think its wise to spend the extra money and get the surface pro 4 with the accessories? or is money better spent elsewhere?

I usually don't recommend Surface due to the price, bad serviceability and reliability concerns
