Hi,

I bought an Aorus Ultra Gaming x470 a while ago and now I am trying to install Windows 7 but I came across a problem. My keyboard and mouse stop working at the Windows installation screen. The keyboard and mouse are working in BIOS, but not in the Windows installation.

I already tried changing the USB ports and changing the mouse and keyboard.

I appreciate every tip, thanks.

Windows7 is not compatible with new motherboards. I ran into this issue few months ago when I bought B350 board and Ryzen CPU. I've googled alot of things and there was a solution to this problem. There is option in Bios called Legacy USB or something like that, in theory it allows you to install Win 7 on new gen mobos without USB issue.

Google it and maybe it will work for you.

Sadly it didn't work for me  so I had to spend 5 euros for Win 10 Pro on Ebay.

Heres a topic on this issue with possible fix: https://superuser.com/questions/851143/windows-installation-media-cant-detect-keyboard-and-mouse
