So I've been saving up for a build and I'm finally gonna go through with it. I already have a list of parts I made at PC Part Picker (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JQKcGG) - not including windows or a graphics card. However, I want to spend no more then $1450 US on this via amazon. The PC would be used for 1080p video editing, web browsing, and 1080p 60 FPS gaming on modern titles such as Fortnite, Rainbow 6, For Honor, etc. I've build multiple PCs for other people, but I'm not especially good at picking out parts myself. Hopefully you can help.

Thanks, I was also wondering what I should include for graphics. I actually posted here because I couldn’t figure out how to downgrade my build to support a good card for under $1450 US total.

Not quite under budget with a gpu. One could go with the stock cooler to bring the build under $1,450.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

So in this case, I should ditch the i7 for better graphics? I thought I would need a beefy cpu for video editing.

An i5-8600 is quite capable of offering reasonable performance editing 1080p video. It wouldn't do as a professional workstation, but for casual use, it is more than enough.

Oh, one more thing. Do you think I can OC the cpu or do I need to get a stronger cooler for that. Thanks. Really appreciate your help.

The system I suggested uses a locked cpu and motherboard incapable of overclocking. If you want to overclock you would have to get an i5-8600K with a Z370 motherboard. The cpu cooler would probably allow a small overclock. A higher performance cooler would be necessary for better overclocking.
