Posted August 12, 2018 I'm going to build a cheap Twitch/YouTube streaming PC, but I want to run Ubuntu/Linux Mint on it, not Windows. I don't have a capture card already, GNU/Linux is a pain to get some hardware working, and the old motherboard that I have has only one PCIe x16 slot, which I reserve for an old graphics card, but has USB 3.0 ports, so I'm looking for an external capture card that works well with Linux out-of-the-box or with easy-to-install drivers.
