I have installed a new ssd in my pc . I remived my hard drive and set it uo with just the ssd and instaled windows on it then i have re plugged in hd as itbhas all my stiff on it but how would i go about removing windows feom the hard drive as i have it on the ssd

You want to remove the windows install from the HDD?

 

You will need another HDD to back up the data on the HDD to. Copy the data you want to keep off the drive to another drive and reformat the drive. You will lose the data on the HDD and it will reset the drive to being empty (also removing the windows files). You can then use it as just a storage drive and copy the files you backed up back over to the HDD.
