Hey,

I've been working on an iPhone 5s for a while and it seems to get stuk when trying to restore the phone (doesn't boot anymore)

I can't find anything about the error on google and stuff...

does somebody know the issue?

Thanks in advance!

Oh no...

I have had the same issue a few weeks ago and now exactly how frustrating that is

Here is how i did it:

I went to the apple store and after a short while of incompetence from the Staff they told my it is Bricked and I need a new one

Here is the jumping point:

Are you still in Varanty? If yes you'll get a new phone by Apple

If no you are f**ed. you'll need to buy a new one (happened to me because I got a replacement after an Employee destroyed the phone while changing the battery (again Apple being incompetent) and you only have 90 days varanty on a replacement)

So... you can try your best at the Apple store, maybe it is not completely done or try to restore using some 3rd party software like :https://www.fonepaw.com/ios-system-recovery/ or https://www.tenorshare.com/products/reiboot.html

I would like to help you but i think it is just bricked

but try your best and good luck!

Hey! Thanks for replying, it's not my main phone haha. It tried to repair a motherboard that I bought on Marktplaats (Dutch Ebay) for 7.50,- (And I nailed it!!) The problem was in the NAND chip, I heated it up so it was able to resolder itself. That fixed the problem. (I fixed a iPhone 6, 6s and 7 with this method!). But after "resoldering" restore it with Reiboot Pro...
