First build encountering problems

I finished building my first pc yesterday. If I have both of my ram sticks installed, the computer won't boot. Only one graphics card has the fans spinning ( i have 2 saphire dual x hd7970 graphics cards) and i have a cpu fan error when it does boot.

Check your manual and only put 1 stick of Ram in the board in the correct slot.

Do both GPUs have PCI power connections? Make sure they are seated correctly in the PCI slot.

Is the fan for the CPU cooler plugged into the header for the cpu on the board?
