Build for August

I'm making a build which is going to be future proof as well as able to cope with video editing, 3D rendering stuff like and stuff like that. I would like if you could give your opinions for any improvement (but please don't say 'get an 7970 or an 7990' because I am not interested in AMD GPUs. If you start raging about that AMD is not partially my Favorite then I will just delete your comment). here is the link:[/url=http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Gazzer96/saved/1f7I]

There is just one thing that is concerning me; I don't think I have enough VRAM for future proofness and advanced graphical programs, but I need to try to keep my cost as low as possible.

Need a different memory kit. x79 is quad channel, you've only got a dual

There are 670s out there with 4GB, though honestly I would suggest single card over dual any day, maybe by august the 700 series will be out?

Also you should have an SSD, there is no point having an LGA2011 build and SLi high end video cards and then limiting yourself with mechanical storage.

I've only got two sticks of RAM for now but they will support quad channel.

I am going to get 700 series but they are not out yet, so I have 670s for now. Really I do want SLI as look at reviews it makes a difference. With Vsync and triple buffering on would it put less stress on multi-GPUs compared to a singel GPU, making less heat, GPUs lasting longer along less likely to dip in fps?

I am going to get an SSD but only when prices come down and then I can use my HDD as backup.

Another thing is that I am going to get the 4390K, which should be released around June?

SLi CAN make a difference but it comes down to the game being coded to take advantage of it and drivers being updated quickly to support the game.

So typically when you have a multi GPU system you spend a lot more time than you'd like just testing new drivers and disabling/enabling the link.

Single GPU is significantly more reliable.
