New mobo, new chipset, new windows?

Right now I have a b350 mobo but I wanna upgrade to x470 with 2nd gen. So even though I keep my ssd do I keep my windows 10 and all storage or should I buy a new key?

You can reinstall Windows 10 without buying a new key.

it depends on the type of key you have. a OEM key is tied to your motherboard and won't transfer to a new system without bios hacking. but a retail key can be used upto 3 times or tied to your Microsoft account.
