Hi, I've read issues before with the first-gen Ryzen and its compatibility with memory, and I think I read somewhere that there are still issues with the 2nd gen Ryzen? How would I know if the memory I plan to buy would be compatible with the motherboard? For example, I'm thinking of pairing a Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO with the GSKILL RIPJAWS V 8GB 2X4GB DDR4 3200MHZ (F4-3200C16D-8GVKB). In the Gskill site, the QLV only lists Intel boards. Does that also mean it would only work for Intel setups and not with AMD Ryzen?

You can check the QVL list on the motherboard's website

but everything should just about work with Ryzen 2000

Just buy the cheapest/faster kit available, or go for G.skill/corsair ect big name brands for a little more usually.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
